Get item counts by state

Returns a count of items per lifecycle state (active, archived, trashed) for the tenant. Useful for surfacing item totals in a dashboard or sidebar without paging through /items. Type-permission scoped: a credential sees only the counts for types it can read. See Lifecycle.
